Luggage storage in Shkoder or Tirana?

Hi,

I will be traveling around Albania this June, and then walking the Peaks of the Balkans trail. I don’t want to have to carry all my luggage for the whole trip through the mountains.

Does anyone know if there’s a good place I could stash a bag for two weeks in Shkoder or Tirana? I’ve written the Sheraton in Tirana, but they haven’t gotten back to me (not staying there). I was also wondering if there might be lockers at a train station, but haven’t had much luck finding info on that.

Has anyone done this there? Any suggestions appreciated.

If you stay at least one night at the same town before and after your hike then the best idea is to leave your luggage at this hotel or guesthouse. It could be OK at smaller family hotels and guesthouses but it’s probably harder to organize it at bigger hotels like Sheraton (even when you stay there).There is almost no train transport and I don’t believe there are any train station lockers available. However, I have heard great things about Store and Go in Shkoder. They are close to the public transport terminal and offer secure storage options.

Store and Go luggage storage services were flexible and fair. I had some important stuff in my luggage that didn’t just need storing. I wouldn’t trust a barebone room in this case. They opened officially in January 2019 but accepted storage already. All legit, life savers. I was able to pay in Euro or in Lek on pick up.
